Make rice balls
First, wash the rice thoroughly, remove any husks, drain the water, and put it in a pot to cook.
Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a basket; to prevent the rice from sticking to the banana leaves, brush a little cooking oil on the leaves, then add the rice and roll it slowly to form a cylindrical shape.

Prepare the sauce
In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of fish sauce, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1/2 tablespoon of coloring sauce, 1 tablespoon of vegetarian seasoning, and 1 tablespoon of sugar, and stir well.

Sautéed Coconut
Clean the scallions you bought, and cut them into pieces about the length of one finger.
Place a pan on the stove, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, wait for the oil to heat up, and then add the cut scallions to sauté until fragrant.
Note:- You just need to wait for the oil to be hot and then add the scallions to sauté, no need to wait for the oil to boil.
- Because boiling oil will cause the fragrant smell from the scallions to rise quickly, and the scallions will burn, losing their aroma.
Next, add 200g of grated coconut to the pan, stir continuously over medium heat to avoid burning the coconut.
Then, evenly pour the mixed sauce you prepared into the coconut pan. Stir well until the coconut strands are evenly soaked with the seasoning and have a nice golden color. Turn the heat down low and sauté continuously for about 10 minutes, until the coconut is just cooked, not too wet and not too dry.
