What is cream cheese?
- Cream cheese, also known as cheese spread, is made from cow’s milk or goat’s milk, has a white color, soft texture, and a very distinctive sour and salty taste. This is one of the most commonly used types of cheese in the world.
- Cream cheese is often used to eat directly, or paired with bread, spaghetti, and even becomes a main ingredient for various cakes such as: cheesecake, Tiramisu cheesecake, salted egg sponge cake,… or appears in milk tea to enhance the appeal of this beverage.

How to make Oreo cheesecake cube
-
Melt butter, mix with oreo
First, melt 200g of unsalted butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
Next, separate 25 oreo cookie shells, put them in a zip bag, and crush them finely. Then, add the melted butter into the bowl of cookie shells and mix well.
Tip: If you don’t have a microwave, you can also melt the butter using a double boiler! -
Pour into oreo mold
Prepare a square mold lined with parchment paper, pour half of the oreo cookie mixture into it, and use a spoon to press it down evenly.
Tip: Remember to save half of the cookie mixture to cover the top of the cake in the final step! -
Whip cream cheese and eggs
Add 900gr of cream cheese into the bowl, then use a hand mixer or a stand mixer to beat it on low speed until smooth.
When the cream starts to become smooth, add 200gr of sugar and continue to mix until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is soft and smooth.
Next, increase the mixer speed to medium, while mixing, add a little vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, 3 eggs, and 1 egg yolk. Mix well until the cream cheese mixture is fully blended and smooth.
Finally, finely crush 5 Oreo cookie shells, then add them to the cream cheese mixture and use a spatula to mix well.
-
Second Molding
First, preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
Next, pour the cream cheese mixture into the oreo crust and bake for the first time at 200 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, reduce the oven temperature to 175 degrees Celsius and bake for a second time for another 10 minutes.
After the second baking, continue to spread half of the remaining oreo crust mixture evenly on top of the cake and bake for the third time at 175 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.
-
Completion
When the cake is done, place it on a high rack to cool, then remove it from the mold and cut it into small bite-sized pieces to finish.
