How to cook Garlic Stir-fried Squid

Prepare the ingredients
After purchasing the squid, use a knife to cut along the squid’s body and then gently pull out the ink sac.
Next, remove the eyes and teeth from the squid’s tentacles, then peel the skin and rinse the squid with diluted salt water 2 – 3 times, followed by a rinse with clean water and let it drain.
Peel the garlic, wash it clean, then crush and chop it finely.

- Step 1: Hold the body of the squid with one hand and the head with the other hand, gently pull up and carefully peel off the ink sac.
- Step 2: Use a knife to cut off the eyes and teeth of the squid.
- Step 3: Use a knife to make a light cut at the head of the squid’s body. One hand holds the squid meat tightly, while the other hand firmly holds the squid skin and pulls it up.
- Step 4: Clean the squid’s intestines and head and rinse again with water.

Stir-fried squid
Place a pan on the stove, add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Wait for the oil to heat up, then add garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant.
