Prepare the ingredients
Wash the abalone, scallop meat, and chicken several times with cold water, then drain in a colander.
Soak the dried cordyceps in a bowl of water for about 15 minutes to expand, then wash them clean and drain.

Place a pot with 900ml of water on the stove and turn the heat to high until the water boils vigorously, then add the chicken and abalone.
Boil for another 5 minutes until the water boils again, then lower the heat, skim off the yellow foam that rises, and add the cordyceps, cover tightly, and simmer for 90 – 120 minutes.
