How to Prepare Noni Wine
-
Choose Noni
The noni used for making wine must be firm and still green.
It is best to choose noni fruits that have smooth, shiny skin, are large, and not bruised or infested.
-
Prepare the Noni
After buying the noni, wash it thoroughly to remove dirt and insects, then let it drain.
Once the noni is dry, cut it into small pieces.
-
Sun-Dry the Noni
Sun-dry the noni under strong sunlight for the first time.
On the second day, continue to sun-dry the noni until it is just dry enough; do not let it dry too much, as it will not taste good when made into wine.
-
Grill the Noni
Grill the noni for about 2 hours on an electric grill.
The electric grill makes grilling the noni easier and faster than charcoal grilling.
-
Wash the noni
Wash the grilled noni with distilled alcohol (about 50 degrees alcohol).
This step helps to clean the moldy and burnt spots on the piece of noni.
Discard the washing water of the noni.
-
Soak the noni
Put the noni into a glass jar, continue to add alcohol and seal the lid tightly.
After about 1 month, you can enjoy the noni alcohol.
