How to make dried sweet potatoes with red beans

Soak sweet potatoes and red beans
First, rinse the red beans clean, discarding the bad and floating beans. Then, soak the red beans for 2 – 3 hours until soft.
Next, rinse the dried sweet potatoes with water to remove all dirt and let them drain.
Finally, wash the peanuts and let them drain.

Simmer red beans
Add 100g of red beans, 100g of peanuts into a pot and cover with water. Close the lid tightly and boil the mixture for 4 – 5 minutes until the beans are soft.
After boiling, strain the bean mixture through a sieve to remove the water.

Next, add the boiled bean mixture, dried sweet potatoes, 50g of sticky rice, 1/3 teaspoon of salt, and just enough water to cover the ingredients into the rice cooker. Close the lid and press the Cook button to start cooking.
