How to make Pork Floss Bread

Mix and knead the dough
Mix 300g of flour, 30g of unsalted butter, 50ml of unsweetened fresh milk, 1 egg yolk, 25g of sugar, 5g of instant yeast, and 2g of salt together in a bowl.
Use your hands to knead the dough for about 30 minutes until it becomes elastic and uniform, not sticking to your hands, then cover tightly and let the dough rise until it doubles in size for about 1.5 – 2 hours.

Baking the bread
Peel the garlic, mince it. Remove the roots from the green onions, wash them, and chop them finely.
After the dough has risen, gently knead it by hand to release the air bubbles. Prepare a rectangular baking pan, brush a layer of cooking oil inside the tray, and place the dough into the pan, pressing gently to spread it evenly.
Use a knife to score small squares on the surface of the dough. Gradually sprinkle the minced garlic, chopped green onions, and pork floss evenly over the surface of the dough. Cover and let it rise for another 15 minutes.
Then prepare the oven, preheat it to 180 degrees Celsius for 5 minutes, and place the baking tray in to bake for about 30 – 40 minutes until the bread is cooked.
