Okra 200 gr Garlic 3 cloves Cooking oil 2 tablespoons Common seasoning a little (Seasoning powder/ monosodium glutamate/ pepper)
How to Choose Fresh Okra
- Choose fresh, young okra pods that are small in size, have a beautiful shiny green color, and a thin layer of fuzz on the outside.
- Gently squeeze with your fingers; if the skin feels crisp and firm, without being soft or dented, it is fresh young okra.
- Do not choose pods that are soft or have dark spots on the outside, as well as those that are too large, which will be overripe okra that doesn’t taste good.

Make Stir-fried Okra with Garlic
Add the okra to a pot, fill with water, and cook over medium heat until boiling, then place on a stove for about 3 minutes until soft and cooked, then remove and drain.
Add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil to a pan, heat over medium heat, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, then add the boiled okra and stir-fry for about 3 minutes.
Season with 2 teaspoons of seasoning powder, 1/2 teaspoon of monosodium glutamate, stir well for 2 minutes to let the seasoning absorb into the okra. Adjust the seasoning to taste and then turn off the heat.
Tip: When adding the okra for stir-frying, do not cook for too long as it will make the okra less tasty and slimy.
