How to choose fresh pork belly
- You should choose pieces of meat that have a bright pink color, are firm to the touch, and do not leave a dent when pressed with your hand.
- Fresh meat will be firm, have an even color, not slimy, and have no unpleasant odor.
- In addition, you should choose meat with a balanced ratio of lean and fat, with a thick outer layer of skin, fat about 1.5 – 2cm thick, and the lean meat tightly attached to the layer of fat, which makes it tastier when stewed.

How to choose delicious stewed papaya with pork
- You should choose semi-ripe papayas that are not fully ripe, as they will be tastier when stewed, have a beautiful color, and are not too soft.
- Choose papayas that are elongated, with green skin and yellow spots.
- When holding the papaya, it should feel firm and sturdy, and the stem should be fresh with sap flowing, which is the best sign.
- Additionally, you should prioritize buying papayas on sunny days, as they will be sweeter at that time.
